New album from miscellaneous owl's band Gentle Brontosaurus!
Three Hares by Gentle Brontosaurus will be available on Bandcamp and streaming on February 13, 2026. Includes many songs originally written as miscellaneous owl songs for Songfight (including Major Arcana, My Favorite Monster, Tumbleweed, and more) and debuted live at Madison SFL 2019!
Rest in peace, Joy Sitler
Song Fighter and long time SpinTunes community member Joy Sitler recently passed away. She was a talented musician and singer/songwriter much respected by the SpinTunes folks. Micah has shared some information on the boards and the SpinTunes folks have put together a tribute/cover album. Info is on the boards.
Rest in peace, Irwin and Dennis
Two of our long time community members recently passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. Irwin contributed as "Suck Weasel" and under many other names, solo and in collaborations, and was a regular at Song Fight Live, including last year's event in Denver. Dennis was the singer, songwriter, and guitarist in sonofsupercar, who performed at many "Song Fight Presents" shows in the SF Bay Area back in the '00s. We will miss them both very much.

A month before he passed, Dennis's longtime band Kindly Swears put out a new video for their new single off their new album. You can find the new album "Kiss Everything Hello" on all major streaming platforms now. Go check it out in his memory.
